Defining Team Direction

These are designed to redeem the overall goal of the organization and are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound.

Managers next ask each team member to create their own strategies to meet and exceed their assigned objectives. Their involvement ensures that team members understand, agree to, and 'buy in' on their assigned objectives. When employees are involved with creating their own objectives and strategies, they are more likely to fulfill their agreed upon responsibilities.
